This custom residence incorporates a central court-yard around which the house is organized. The design maintains a low profile and intimate feel by allowing the mass of the building to conform to the slope of the site. The design concept is that service portions of the house are buried within the natural grade and the remainder of the house emerge from the site as though it were a natural outcropping. The primary materials are concrete, stone and glass.
