The Guest House, originally designed in 1998, currently operates at nearly 100% capacity for the majority of the year. The overwhelming success of the Guest House operations has justified the expansion of the building.
Generally, the Addition and Renovation Project will consist of an addition of a new wing, the renovation of a few independent parts of the existing building, an addition of a new fire line, and new parking spaces. The proposed addition is a four story structure that is approximately 35,000 gross square feet. The addition will include 51 new guestrooms on the upper three levels and a large meeting room on the lower level. The addition will include two new stair towers, a new elevator, and a new entrance for the new/existing meeting rooms.
The intent of the renovation is to create more space in the existing laundry room, guest entry, and entrance / lobby / dining area. The renovation also includes reconfiguration of the break room, administration areas, and exercise room.
